5x5 iMovie-Makers

A 5x5 is a 25-second video composed of five 5-second clips, using only natural sound. Today we talked about what makes an 'outstanding' 5x5 video. Here's what we came up with:

• One simple subject (Simone C)
• A storyboard for your ideas and types of shots (Mrs D)
• Steady shots - use a tripod (Robbie)
• Interesting shots looking up and down, low to the ground (Amber)
• Good editing to get 5 seconds of interesting footage (Waipari)

To see if we could understand the process of making of them, we went out into the rain and created our own 5x5. We edited the shots on iMovie. Take a look:
